PTA AGM 19 September 2017


The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Island School Parent Teacher Association Limited (ISPTAL) will be held on Tuesday, the 19th of September 2017, to elect a new committee. It will take place at 6.30p.m. in the Island School Library. To be part of the committee, you must fill in a nomination form, which are available here. Alternatively, you may email to have one sent to you.  Completed nomination forms should be received by the PTA at 17:00 on Thursday the 14th September 2017.

We warmly invite all parents – especially our regular volunteers – to join us for refreshments after the AGM.  We look forward to your participation.

09.30 – 12.00 Da Vinci & Einstein
13.00 – 15.30 Fleming & Nansen

Wednesday 9th August – Year 7
09.30 – 12.00 Rutherford & Wilberforce

PTA Shop Volunteers Needed

Dear Volunteer,

Thank you for all the help you’ve given us during the school year, we couldn’t run the PTA without you and are very grateful for everything you do.

For those returning in August, we’d like to ask again for your time as it’s very busy in both shops at the start of term.

The uniform shop will open from 9.30am on Tuesday 8th August. We have students who will help Christine and I behind the counter, but we’d appreciate your help “front of house” as the friendly, welcoming face of the PTA – advising new families what uniform items they need, keeping the racks tidy etc. (more…)
