Community English – Book Launch
At a celebration of creative writing Teri Eves the English Teacher in charge of the Community English Projects and *special guests, awarded books to the student authors, on the 31 October 2018.
Together Island School students and their contemporaries from neighboring school Ng Yuk Secondary School have written 18 books together. At the launch event students talked about the narratives they created and the collaboration process.
The partnership will continue as students from IS and NGSS meet at Community English sessions.
