Reusable Mask Competition Update
WANBO asks for the support of the Island School community to vote for their favourite designs as part of their Reusable Mask Competition.
With close to 100 entries across all six Houses, students submitted their own designs to their respective Houses themed around the ‘House Spirit’. We can now vote for our favourite design. The top three designs for each House will go forward to the finals and the winning design will be printed and manufactured by Tsunami Sport.
To vote, click on the relevant House link below to review all of your designs. Each design has a number next to it. This corresponds to the number that you will vote for in the Google Form at the top of each House website. See this PPT if you are unsure.
Everyone will be able to take part in this until the end of round one – Monday 26 April.
Please do get behind this initiative and make Island School the first school in Hong Kong to use just reusable masks!
Sam Hui, WANBO leader (11W), “On behalf of the team, a huge thank you to the Island School community for your unwavering support. We have been honoured to lead such a great initiative and look forward to tackling one of the world’s greatest pollution issues with everyone’s support.”
The WANBO team is looking to recruit new volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Ross Burrough (ross.burrough@online.island.edu.hk). Space on the teams are limited, so early sign up is advised.
