Da Vinci Charity Day 2021
Da Vinci House held their annual Charity Day to raise money and donate supplies to the Crossroads on the 7th October, 2021.
Students dressed in orange to show their support on the event day. Stall games, supply donations, quizzes and raffles were held in both campuses. In Tai Wai, mini fair games were held during lunch breaks for students from all forms to join the fun.
Based on the most needed items, students donated stationary, clothes and small household appliances such as rice cooker to the organisation.
Eunice Wong (11D), one of the charity representatives, said “The Da Vinci Charity Day was very successful and it was a wonderful leadership opportunity for me.”
The Day wrapped up with a Zoom quiz with 16 teams joining the fun! The 5-round game featured topics ranging from guessing the city, movie, music, and solving riddles at the final round. A student team from Year 9 won the quiz at the end!
Mary Lacey-Vittachi, Senior Head of Da Vinci House said, “The friendly warmth of the House showed itself in the games room B506 where students played old time favourite Fairground games. Thank you to all! It was lovely to see the spirit of Da Vinci House rising again.”
