Anson Takes Third Place in Ironman Race

Anson Leung (9E) took third place in the sprint distance Vietnam Ironman Race held on the 10-13 May 2018. The sprint distance challenges participants to (swim 750m, bike 20km, run 5km). On race day the sea was rough and the temperature was 40C plus. Anson came 3^rd overall among the 104 participants and 1^st in his category!

“The hardest part of the race was the run right after the bike. My body wanted to stop but I ran and ran and ran to the finish line.”
