IB Film and Media Students Pay Homage to Film Noir
In this short film ‘Homage to the Third Man’ IB Film and Media students bring us a bit of film noir. Their assignment was to mimic the cinematography and mise en scène of a German expressionist film. They used as inspiration ‘The Third Man’ a film made in 1949, directed by Carol Reed, starring Orson Welles.
Film and Media teacher Tessie Word said: “The film makers showed that they perfectly understood the genre and their technical filming and editing skills are strong.”
