Young Post Quotes Rugby Player Ahead of Tournament.
The All Girls Rugby Tournament, hosted by the Sai Kung Stingrays Rugby Club on the 30 & 31 March, was said to be one of the worlds largest.
Island School student Natalee Evans, played in the U14 category with the Flying Kukris, she told the Young Post, “”I’m excited, the tournament will let me test my rugby skills against the best in Hong Kong.”
“I’m most looking forward to winning, and trying my best against tough opposition. I hope to use what I have learnt from National Age Grade and club training to help my Kukris team mates.”
Natalee also plays for the Island School team. The tournament saw 78 teams compete over 250 scheduled games. Natalee’s team won some matches and placed in the middle of the results board.
At the Hong Kong Sevens, this weekend, Natalee will be playing a HK U14 girls showcase game. She will also be a ball girl for the whole three days. Meeting and mingling with the players!
