With school suspension continuing, here are some useful tips for parents about online learning:

• Have a comfortable learning environment, with essential equipment in a distraction free zone where possible.
• Keep an open dialogue with your child and ask them to show you the learning they are doing each day. Look through Google Classroom to stay up to date with your childs learning
• Identify when parent input is necessary.
• Students respond best when parents also model positive behavior. Therefore, where possible keep the TV and phone calls to a minimum while your child is on online lessons.
