Understanding Thrive 2023
Thrive is a part of the Island School curriculum that focuses on a student’s wellbeing and their social and mental development growth.
A team of Thrive ambassadors produce newsletters which reinforces the topic that students covered in the classroom. Thrive also helps the development of core skills such as: collaboration and communication. It offers students a chance to take a break away with laptops and do something that does not have a measurable outcome, such as reading or playing. In Year 12 and 13 students are supported through the Higher Education process and prepared for life beyond school.
