The Best Ever IB and BTEC Results of Island School
It was a record breaking year for this year’s International Baccalaureate (IB) results at Island School. The average score for the IB Diploma was 36.2 points with 21% of students achieving over 40 points. The top performing students were Kristiana Tsang and Ryan Lee who both achieved 44 points out of a maximum of 45. Thomas Biek, Andrea Chin, Deborah Kwong, Heng-Jeung Yuen and Arundhati Mukherjea all scored an impressive 43 points.
There were also some incredible results for the Applied Learning Pathway students. 51% of individual grades were awarded the highest mark of a Distinction*. Six students actually achieved the maximum possible grades of three Distinction* in all their BTEC subjects. They were Robbie Stamp, George Wyatt, Rohan Mather, Hannah Johannson, Jake Olsen and Jessica White.
