Dear Parents

Our Year 13 students are in the final stages of their IB examinations and the public examinations for Year 11s continue. I am pleased to report that they have distinguished themselves in the manner in which they approached this challenge.

It was not a desirable scenario to require them to move from Borrett Road for their last stages of Year 13 or Year 11. One of our highest priorities through decant has been to support them through this period.

In reality from the day of announcement Island School’s amazing students were composed in dealing with this scenario. They were proactive in the steps they took to complete their formal studies with the same passion as those who’ve gone before them.

Starting with the Sports Awards tonight there are many activities planned for the next few weeks where parents will be able to see firsthand students’ wonderful achievements.
