Manager – Finance
Responsibilities
This post holder is responsible to create guidelines and operating manual for the Island Trust.
The role is for 2 months with the possibility to extend for another month if needed.
Main accountabilities include:
• Prepares guidelines, policies, procedures and Operating Manual for the Island School Trust
• Liaises closely with Island School and ESF centre to ensure practices are aligned with Finance policies
• Ensures compliance with relevant HK legislation as they apply to the Trust
• Ensures policies are clearly communicated
• Streamlines documentation to enhance operational efficiency
• Maintains master files
• Advises and liaises with schools’ administrators regarding the Island School Trust
• Works with internal auditors as needed
• Obtains the necessary approvals for Trust documentation

Abilities
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Word
• Works well under pressure
• Able to interpret legal or complex documentation and identify requirements
• Good team player
• Good communication skills

• Good analytical skills
• Critical thinking
Knowledge
• Good knowledge of producing and controlling technical documentation.
Minimum typical experience
• More than 8 years experience in document control and administration, including leadership experience
