Chinchin (9W) took gold in all 4 apparatus rounds and gold over all at the Hong Kong Rhythmic Gymnastics Inter-Schools Competition on 20 May 2018.
She competed against 27 athletes from 20 different schools. This year Chinchin has been receiving training in Russia. The four apparatus routines were choreographed in September and have been fine-tuned over time. Following some injuries, Chinchin had four weeks of recovery training followed by an intensive two weeks of training for an average of 3 hours per day before the competition
The next competition Chinchin hopes to compete in is the National Youth Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Beijing in August.
