Claiming their prize from the Spring Fair’s silent auction, five parents joined, Mr Lord for an Italian Food Masterclass, 14 May 2019.
Over 3 hours, parents prepared signature Italian dishes under the guidance of Mr Chris Lord, Head of Hospitality and Food Technology. The dishes included fresh pesto pasta, pan fried duck breast with mushroom risotto with Parmesan crisps and panna cotta for dessert.
For many of the guests to Mr Lord’s kitchen it was the first time they had made and rolled fresh pasta dough. They finished with a presentation challenge – designing their own plating for their panna cottas.
