ISPTA Welcomes Parents for 2023-24 Academic Year

ISPTA joined the school in welcoming new and returning parents for the 2023-2024 academic year 

The welcoming and orientation events began with a new parents orientation on August 15, for Y7 parents joining after June and new parents joining across Y8- Y12. ISPTA Parent Reps shared information about the PTA Whats App groups and assisted parents with any questions they had about settling into school. Students had a Q & A with the senior leaders and students leaders.

This was followed with a coffee morning for all parents on August 22, with coffee, tea and croissants. It was very nice to see many of our Y7 families and others across year groups. PTA Reps along with various school leaders welcomed parents and had a chance to mingle in a relaxed environment.

The next round of welcoming events were the Parent Information Evenings for all year groups Y7-13, with the tea and coffee sponsored by ISPTA. There was consistently great attendance and it was fantastic to have these events return in-person. Parent Reps participated in the presentations with the school leaders to share about the work of the PTA in the school, upcoming events and their parental perspective of supporting their children during this school year.
