Hospitality Students Visit Cathay Pacific Catering Services

Year 12 IB Career Programme Hospitality students visited Cathay Pacific Catering Services on the, 3 October 2019 on a research trip.

The visit was organised by alumnus, Andy Wong, CEO of Cathay Pacific Catering Services and his colleague Manki Wong. They walked students through their mass catering daily operations.

Mr Chris Lord, Head of Food Technology said, “Many thanks to Andy and Manki for organising the activity. The visit was a valuable experience for both students and myself.”

“It gave them [the students] a great insight to the complexity of ensuring the quality and safety of airline catering service. The students are now designing their own healthy children’s meals and sustainable business class meals for the airline meals project.”
