Healthy Eating Week 2022

Organised by the Year 12 Food CAS students, Healthy Eating Week, 13 -17 June 2022, saw staff and students take up different daily challenges.
The challenges were informed by the British Nutrition Foundation guidance and included:
  • Monday: Focus on fiber – for meals and snacks
  • Tuesday: Get at least 5 A Day – put plenty on your plate
  • Wednesday: Vary your protein – be more creative
  • Thursday: Stay hydrated – fill up from the tap
  • Friday: Reduce food waste – know your portion
Students on both campuses were treated to free fruit as they entered the school on Thursday to promote eating 5 A Day. They also created the June Wellbeing Monthly edition and put together this video for the assembly to promote the week.
