Geographers Go with the Flow!

Year 11 Geography IGCSE students went to Sai Kung Country Park overnight to immerse themselves in the study of sediment.

The students analyzed the flow and sediment of the Lung Hang River for their IGCSE Cambridge coursework.

Head of Geography Howard Davis, “The trip gives students a chance to visualise and test theoretical ideas about rivers and streams and gives the students opportunities to collaborate in fieldwork data collection and analysis. The experience is great preparation for the IB Geography and Environmental Systems courses and it is great fun into the bargain.”
