Educational Assistant – 2 posts (Full time and Part-time)

Responsibilities

Island School has the following vacancies:

* Educational Assistants – Full-time, with a monthly salary of $16,470

* Educational Assistants – Part-time post – Maximum 17.5 hours/week at HK$146/hour for a maximum of 17.5 hours weekly.

Individual Needs Department
Candidates must be orally fluent in English and have an excellent standard of written English. The candidate must be able to support the development of secondary students’ literacy skills and numeracy skills. The successful candidates will support students, particularly those with SEN such as ADHD and dyslexia, in mainstream lessons across the curriculum as well as in small groups and individually.

Requirements

Any candidate must complete a written letter of application stating their previous experience, why they would like this particular post and what skills they can bring to this role. Completion of this letter is essential if the application is to be taken further.

Starting date for these positions will be late August-early September 2016.

Applicants must be a permanent Hong Kong resident or possess a valid visa to work in Hong Kong.
