TEDx Event

Greetings Island School, we proudly present TEDxIslandSchool, Island School’s first-ever officially licensed TEDx event! Yup, it’s the TEDx— the one whose videos you all likely watch so much in class. Our theme for this event is “Pop!”, where we aim to broaden the horizons of people’s perspectives and thinking, as well as break through the walls of various stereotypes set within society. We can guarantee you this event will have something for everyone, from talks about STEM to politics to business, you all will have your minds “Pop!” through our multi-faceted and talented external and student speakers. We cordially invite you all, students, teachers, parents, and alumni alike to attend this momentous event. The event will be held in the performance space, on January 19th from 5-7 pm.
