National English Speaking Competition 2023 

Vijay Narayanan (11F) was awarded the Champion Award (Junior Secondary Category) this July at the NESC finals. This year’s competition set a new record for participant numbers, with over 3,000 students from more than 200 institutions, including primary, secondary, and tertiary schools.

The event was attended by Sonia Cheung, CEO of Rosewood Hotel Group, and also the Chief Secretary of Administration for Hong Kong, Mr. Eric Chan.

As the champion of the junior secondary category, Vijay will have the opportunity to participate in the Elite National English Speaking Exchange Programme, where he will witness the National Grand Final and meet contestants from all over China and surrounding regions.
