Julian at Apple Developers Conference 2019
For two years in a row, Julian Schiavo (10W) has won a scholarship to attend the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) held in San Jose, California.
This annual conference, held this year from the 3-7 June, welcomes people who design apps for Apples devices. Winning Julian the scholarship this year was his augmented reality game, where players try to imitate an emoji with their facial expressions to win points.
Julian shared some of his conference highlights he said, “Not only did we [the participants] have the opportunity to meet with Apple CEO, Tim Cook at the keynote event held on the first day, we also met and chatted with Apple Engineers, asking questions about their work and process at The Scholarship Kickoff.”
