Island Futures Exhibition 2019
At the Island Futures Exhibition, Year 11 students celebrated their Elements courses learning journey with families and friends, on 28 March 2019.
A variety of students’ work was displayed at the exhibition, including paintings, photographs, written work and designs. Students were also asked to reflect on the personal skills and the 5Cs (Creativity and Critical thinking, Communication, Capacity to Learn, Conscience and Collaboration) they have demonstrated and developed throughout their Elements courses.
Mr Matthew Rappel, Vice Principal and Head of Middle Phase explained, “This year’s exhibition was a credit to the Year 11 students. I was so impressed by the quality of the students’ reflections on how their skills had developed over the last three years. Some of the actual displays were also incredibly creative. All of the staff and visitors who carried out the viva’s with the students complimented on their great effort.”
