Dear parents and caregivers

As this is the last newsletter of this year I would like to thank you for the tremendous support you have provided in one of the most challenging years in the history of our school.

I am extremely proud of our achievements this year. Our students have risen to every challenge and our staff have been tireless in ensuring our students received a first class education.

On a personal note this year has been the highlight of my career. I have very much appreciated the kindness and patience you have afforded me whilst I settled into Hong Kong and grew in my understanding of the uniqueness of Island School.

I am very much looking forward to next year. After an extensive review of our practices which included parent surveys, we have identified numerous projects to be undertaken in pursuit of school improvements.

I wish all students a wonderful summer break and I look forward to welcoming you back in August.
