Student Sweeps The Board at Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition
Sweeping the board at the Hong Kong Inter-School Rhythmic Gymnastics Competition, Island School student Sun Yi Ali, was named Champion in four out of five categories.
This is the fourth time Sun Yi has taken part in the ISRG competition, the largest of its type in Hong Kong. She started training with the Gymnastics Association at age eight. She now trains an average of 25 hours a week. Soon she will be going to a two week training camp in Taiwan in preparation for the Open Championships in Singapore and the Junior Asian Championships in Kazakhstan later this month.
