At the Gothia Football Cup Students Win Qualifying Games Reaching the Quarter Finals

Playing for the Hong Kong Junior Football League four Island School students and their team mates traveled to Shenyang in China to play in the Gothia Youth Cup this summer.

Player Osel Thakuri said: “We did really good, we won lots of matches, but in the quarter finals we lost against a really good team.”

“It was a really good experience to be playing in the World Youth Cup and I scored one goal! The best thing about the tournament was I got to make more friends and we made it to the quarter finals!”
