IB Visual Art Exhibition
Head of Visual Arts Helen Palmer talks about the IB Art Exhibition
It was an extremely busy time for Year 13 IB Visual Arts students with the final preparation for their exhibition.
The IB Visual Arts exhibition, coinciding with the Year 12 parental consultations, was a huge success. The exhibition this year was held in a marquee in block 4 playground and from the feedback received, both parents and staff had a most enjoyable evening, and found our new venue to be most successful.
Well done to our group of talented Year 13 students, who have worked exceptionally hard to produce such amazing outcomes!
We would also like to thank the PTA Welcome Committee who did a wonderful job serving refreshments on the evening – thank you!
“Inspirationally Beautiful”, “Fantastic artwork” these were some of the quotations written in the visitors book by P6 students of Beacon Hill Primary School having attended the IB Visual Arts Exhibition. The students were able to meet the artists and gain first- hand
knowledge of the concepts behind their work.
