Geographers Data Collection in Sai Kung Country Park
Year 11 Geography students spend the day collecting data for their IGCSE coursework project in Sai Kung Country park. After a short hike up into the upper course of the Lung Hang river the students made their way down through the river valley to collect data on stream bed load, velocity and channel efficiency. The students really enjoyed the experience and remarked on their enjoyment of outside learning. Head of Geography Howard Davis said, “It was great to see our students collaborating effectively in data collection and carefully observing the environment in such beautiful surroundings.”
