Students from each House addressed the audience and spoke about what it means to be in a House and what it means to be an Islander. Nicole Khaimson (11E) told students and guests, “It doesn’t matter how smart, or cool or funny you are. The only thing that matters at the end of the day is that you put your all into every single thing you do – whether that’s your Higher Level Maths exam or an extracurricular.”

Jaimie Lau also addressed the audience she said, “At Island School we instinctively support and cheer on those who may not be as strong as us, whether it be in sports, academics or the arts, within our year and across the school. We applaud those better than us, and we learn from them. And every one of us is capable of the signature Island School humour and humility that lets us laugh with others and at ourselves, not taking ourselves too seriously and having fun as we learn to be global citizens.”

There were performances from The Island School Chamber Orchestra.

The official photos from the Graduation will be email to Year 11 parents.
