After representing Hong Kong at the Ice Hockey Women’s World Championship Division II, in South Africa, January 2019, Chloe Chan (13W) was interviewed by the SCMP Young Post about her international experiences.
In the interview, Chloe recalls that facing the Japanese team in 2017 Asian Winter Games was one the most memorable competitions she has taken part in and was impressed by their professional skills. She also shared that playing in these international tournaments has been a great way for her to see her shortcomings and how she can work on them.
Chloe also explains how her previous training and competition experience with male players on the same rink motivated her to work extra hard to become a better player. The Year 13 student hopes to lead a new generation [of players] to become pillars within a team.
