Winter Food Foodies, 2 December 2017
The last winter fair at this Island School campus is approaching! Here is a sneak peak of what our students have been working towards to ensure everyone has a great time, with great food.
Students tell us what they have planned, Audrey Leung 7E, Student Member of the Winter Fair Food Committee, “Over these past few months the food committee has been working hard! We’ve been working on cooking, tasting and experimenting with the most exquisite dishes for guests to enjoy. I hope you enjoy the activities that the Winter Fair Food Committee will have organised for you!”
Brita Cheng 12F, Head of the Winter Fair Food Committee, “Since September 2017, the Food Committee comprising of students from Years 7-13 have been collaborating towards a dessert stall that will be selling sorbet, gingerbread and mousse at the fair. Many of us in the group have a passion for food and would like to make the last fair at our current campus a special one. This is a unique opportunity for students to showcase their culinary skills. Come along on 2nd December to see our final products!”
