Spring Cultural Fair 15th April 2016
Happy New Year! 2016 is the Red Fire Monkey year, wishing you a lucky year for all of the Island School community…“If you always give, you will always have” –Chinese Proverb
At the Spring Cultural Fair, we are showcasing the amazing talents of Island School students in what promises to be a very entertaining evening! The evening will be packed full of fun and interesting cultural activities, culminating with the draw of our annual raffle. There will be commercial stalls and PTA stalls. There will be delicious Food stalls (prepared by Island School Parents) representing many countries from around the world. There will be flowing, wine, beer, soft drinks, sweets and refreshments available thorough out the evening.
When: 15th of April 2016, 5:30-9:30pm
Raffle Ticket Draw: 9pm
Entrance Fee: $ 20 per adult
$ 10 per child
$ 50 per family of 4
CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!
We are now looking for volunteers for the Spring Cultural Fair 2016!
We need help on the PTA Stalls (2nd Hand Books, Kitchenware, Baked Goods, New Toys & merchandise, Wine Bar, Crepes, Bouncy Castle, Raffle Tickets, Entrance). We also need help in Food Stalls (set up and clean up).
Last year’s Food Stalls were Argentinian, Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Scottish, but we are looking to expand. We would like to have American, British and other if possible. Please volunteer and bring new flavors to the Fair! We encourage all volunteers to enjoy and embrace the Island School Spirit!
We need volunteers from 4 PM on the evening of 15 April.
