Gifts for Soon To Be Young Mothers

A Big Thank you to our Island School Community for your gracious support of our Connected Communities Project Team.

As you will know, many soon-to-be young mothers lack support, facing various financial and personal hardships and have found support through the NGO, Mother’s Choice in Hong Kong.

Our project invited these young women to write a “Dear Santa Letter” and make a wish for Christmas. 

We invited you to be their Santa and in return we would be your reindeer!

At the PTA Winter Fair,  56 members of our community signed up to support our project. Thank you so so much! (We are still hoping to find one or two more…)

If you haven’t done so already please bring the gift for your young mother to Island School General Office in this final week of term. We will begin wrapping your presents next week and will pack our sleigh, attach the reindeer and head down to Mother’s Choice; we will have deliveries done by December 22nd.
