Clement Kwan (10R), WANBO leader, said, “We have been really happy with how far this mask initiative progress has gone. We’re very excited to start transitioning our school out from disposable masks to reusable ones, it has been great seeing so many students across the year groups working hard on their house’s very own mask designs. After seeing the statistics of disposable masks increasing from the past few months even reaching the millions in Hong Kong, it’s been great to see our school community working hard on making a change and being so supportive of WANBO’s initiatives.”
The WANBO team is looking to recruit new volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Ross Burrough (ross.burrough@online.island.edu.hk). Space on the teams are limited, so early sign up is advised.
