Research project gains Year 9 students press coverage

A research project into child illiteracy has won Daanyal Ebrahim, Year 9, coverage on the front cover of the South China Morning Post – Young Post, Sunday 21st Feb 2016. At the end of Year 8 Daanyal spent eight weeks researching child illiteracy as part of his ‘Solo E Project’. His findings were presented to the class, he so impressed his teachers that he was invited to speak at FuturED#2, sharing the bill with celebrities and CEO’s of big brand names, a reporter at FuturED#2 then interview Daanyal – the importance of his message and solutions offered on how to tackle child illiteracy won him a place on the front cover of the Young Post.Daanyal
