Recycling Interhouse
Precious Plastics is finally back! This time, and as part of WANBO’s Green Week, we’re launching a recycling interhouse that aims to repurpose plastic waste on our campus.
There are 6 bins placed outside the staffroom at LG-1, and whenever you have a leftover plastic bottle cap, you can dispose of it in your house’s bin! Bins in this inter-house competition will be emptied and reset every 2 months, with the house with the most caps at the end of each round earning house points that contribute to their final inter-house standings at the end of the year.
This will be running continuously, so get recycling! All collected bottle caps will go towards our Precious Plastics initiative in Design Technology, where we’ll be able to melt them down and turn them into usable creations around our school.
