Panna from Heaven
The cream of panna cottas won this week’s Star Baker in Elements course Sweet Indulgence. Students designed and made their own panna cottas and then worked in groups to create sauces and garnishes to accompany the dishes. Head of Hospitality and Food Technology Mr Chris Lord said, “Students had to style their plate to restaurant standard and then photograph them for magazines they are designing. Well done to Charlotte, Hayley and Leanna who were voted Star Bakers for their professional plating, but all plates were visually beautiful.”
