Outstanding Drama Supported by the Spirit Fund

Frantic Assembly is a physical theatre company that is respected worldwide. Best known for their Broadway and West End Production of “The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Nighttime”.

This year the Spirit Fund enabled us to invite Frantic Assembly back to school for a second time to work with students and staff for an exciting 3 days. Their work inspired several exam and Elements groups from Years 10 – 13 and their work will have a long term effect on the drama experience at Island School.

Two of the performances that demonstrates the exciting physical theatre aspect of Frantic’s work are the BTEC students’ devised performances. These are plays written, choreographed and rehearsed in workshops by the students.
