Message from Head Students 2021-2022

Hello Island School!

We are delighted to be given the opportunity to serve as your head students for the upcoming school year.

Island School’s community is nuanced by its unique characteristics of courage, unity, humility and strength. As the new head students, we hope to continue bringing the community together, as well as uphold the Island School values of pursuing excellence, embracing responsibility and celebrating individuality.

Despite the current distance learning situation, our school community remains as strong as ever and we will not let it deter us from continuing to reinforce the Island School spirit. As face to face learning inevitably returns, we will, to the best of our ability, ensure that this transition is a smooth one and that no student is neglected in the process.

We would also like to thank the previous head students, Gloria, Gobind, Jaime and Rachel for their work this past year. They have been amazing role models for the entire Island School community, especially with the positive attitude they maintained through all the difficulties we faced over the past year. Words cannot express our gratitude for them, and we are more than honored to be able to carry their legacy forward to the next year.
