Meet the Author

On Thursday 3rd December, a group of students and teachers met on Zoom to discuss ‘The Mountains Sing’, a new historical novel showing the impact of Vietnam’s 20th century war and conflict on one family. They were joined online by the author of the book, Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai, who answered questions and shared her insights and experiences as a writer.

Organiser Mr Nason said “We’re so thankful to Quế Mai for taking the time to join us. She was so warm and open in taking questions from the students, and I certainly learned a lot from the chat we had.”
