Preparing for Diwali, the festival of lights
ISPTA brings the spirt of Diwali to Island School !
Diwali, the festival of lights, marks the time when Indians across the world celebrate the triumph of good over evil with beautiful rituals such as festive lights, fireworks, sweet delicacies and family gatherings.
In support of Diwali Week, ISPTA supported the decorating the campus. Over two consecutive afternoons, ISPTA Volunteers, teachers and students put up traditional toran flower decorations in bright vibrant colors and accented with traditional clay candle holders called diyas and lotus flowers.
