Islands and Coastal Trails, Geographers Set A Course
Navigating Shek O’s coastal trail, last week, Year 9 geographers observed geological processes. They completed tasks to develop their understanding of the processes at work on the coastline. Head of Geography Howard Davis remarked, “For some of our students it was the first time they had visited Shek O and for others it was a great opportunity to see the place through a different lens.”
The trip is just one of the two main trips offered by the Geography department for Year 9 students.
Year 7 geographers visited the outlying islands investigating their historical and geographical changes, plus the impact of the tourist attractions.
