Island School ESF Chef 2019

With the most challenging brief yet, the final round of Island School ESF Chef took place on 3 April 2019.
Six teams of finalist prepared a plant-based main dish and dessert in 1 hour and 45 minutes. As the clock was ticking, students applied different techniques they have learned and presented their dishes to the judges. The judging panel included Principal, Mr Stephen Loggie, last year senior winner, Jennifer Frawley and Viva Sheth (IB Food Science student), the Chef and Manager from POP Vegan restaurant and alumni Alvin Kwong from Magic Season Organics . Winners received a coupon from POP Vegan as well as gift bags from PTA.
