Celebrating the first 50 years of Island School
Island School Five-0 school fair took place on December 3rd, 2016. As part of the 50th anniversary celebration lineup, it brought together students, parents and staff to celebrate the first 50 years of Island School. The fair was a truly spectacular event, with a record turnout of parents and students! A huge round of applause to all student, staff and parent volunteers who put the event together. The school hall and playground looked so festive! All of us had a wonderful day, making this one of those historic moments in Island School’s time at Borrett Road that will be remembered for many years to come.
A big thank you to all parent volunteers, and especially our food stall coordinators for your time and hard work in making this event a success. The proceeds of the food stalls and the kitchenware sale organised by ISPTA exceeded HKD 100,000 and were donated to the NMKM fund that supports underprivileged sixth form students in local schools.
