IB Food Science Students Discover the Magic Mix – Magic Seasons

Alumni, Alvin Kwong from Magic Season, an organic vegetable company, told IB Food Science students how to combat food waste in Hong Kong. Alvin, Class of 2007 Fleming, explained what organic farming is, how it differs between countries, the logistics of running a company and the issue of food waste and how to combat it.

Head of Food Technology and Hospitality Mr Chris Lord said, “The students were really engaged during the question and answer session. A big thank you to Alvin who will be back in school again soon, as we link up on projects.”
