Fleming House Charity Week
Fleming House raced and baked for their chosen charities HK Children’s Cancer Foundation and HUSK Cambodia during their charity week 24-28 Sep 2017.
Throughout the week each form in the House did a different activity: Year 7 Fleming did a sponsored silence, Year 8F sponged the teacher. Years 9F, 10F and 11F completed a run, while Years 10F, 11F, 12F and 13F held bake sales. They also had a dress red day.
The House is still collecting toys to donate to the Children’s Cancer Foundation after half term which will be delivered in November, students are encouraged to continue to bring in new toys and books.
Senior Head of Fleming House Angela Worthington said, “Fleming charity week was a wonderful success. Every form in the House stepped up and raised a staggering $42,000 to date for our House charities.”
