Elements Course ‘Big History’ Field Trip

Elements course ‘Big History’ students had the unique opportunity to visit a special exhibition from the British Museum at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum on 17 Jun 2019.

The  exhibition titled “A History of the World in 100 Objects” offers a new perspective by presenting objects from different time periods and cultural zones. It seeks to show how mankind in various areas and cultures shared similar aspirations and development in aspects of power, belief, art, trading and technology.

“Students were lucky enough to see artefacts that were thousands of years old as well as some more recent pieces including Hokusai’s “The Great Wave off Kanagawa.” said Maryanne Mcphee, Head of History.
