Decant Update 29 Sep 2017

This week the removal company Columbia delivered boxes to school so that teachers can start packing and labelling resources, not needed for the remainder of the term. The School Council will meet on the 12 October when they will confirm the number of days needed to pack before the Christmas break and the number of days needed to unpack in January 2018.

The interviews for the Community Liaison Officer start next week. This is a new role and the person appointed will be responsible for developing relations with key groups in the Sha Tin area i.e. other schools, community and public groups. They will also have responsibility for projects such as the English classes and gardening projects.

Today the student decant committee met to talk about names of each campuses. A range of names were put forward, some less serious than others and a proposal has been made to the School Council for endorsement.
