Connected Communities Team & Mother’s Choice

The Connected Communities Team would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to all the Secret Santas who purchased a gift for a young mother at Christmas.  Approximately 20,000 HKD in gifts were bought for women who are – soon to be mothers, your generosity made this initiative possible. 

In December of 2023, the Connected Communities Team in collaboration with charity Mother’s Choice, organized a Christmas Present Drive. Some young mothers in Hong Kong encounter financial challenges and might struggle with emotional or psychological stress, and look to Mother’s choice for support. The Secret Santa initiative provides them with a gift just for them.  Parents, teachers, and students embraced the spirit of giving by taking on the role of a ‘Secret Santa’ and purchasing a gift that might make a mum-to-be smile! 

Finally, a special thank you to all student volunteers who helped wrap the presents prior to the delivery!
