Chief Scout’s Award
On 29th October, The Hong Kong Scout Rally held its annual event of the Association where all Scouts gather to reaffirm the Scout Promise. Two Islanders Matthew Tsang Ok Sang (13E) and Luciano Suen (12D) were presented with the “Chief Scout’s Award” which is the highest award of the Scout Section in the Scout Association of Hong Kong.
To achieve the “Chief Scout’s Award”, one has to satisfy the requirements in the aspects of scoutcraft, adventure, culture, community, health, self- commitment, social services, leadership and proficiency badges. It normally takes 3-4 years for a Scout to complete all the requirements. Matthew and Luciano are to be commended for their sterling efforts in achieving such a prestigious award. Matthew is from the 36th Hong Kong Scouts and Luciano is from the 192nd Kowloon Scouts.
